the national drying technology and equipment engineering technology research center is a subordinate institution of the tianhua institution of chemical machinery & automation. the research center provides a platform for the r&d of new product and new technology, building of standardization, promotion of independent innovation, commercialization of new findings and exchange of information. it also offers trainings for the cultivation of engineers and technicians. the center’s main tasks are to save energy, reduce costs, develop safe and environmentally-friendly products, research and develop important technical equipment, and promote localized production. fundamental research is the basis; drying technology and related products application comprise the pillar business. the center focuses on technologies like indirect heating and drying, closed-circuit drying and mixed drying. efforts have also also been made in major fields like metallurgy, the petrochemical industry and the coal chemical industry.
