the national loaded structure engineering plastics engineering and technology research center was established in april 1992 with the approval of the former state science commission as a subordinate institution of the china bluestar chenguang research institute of chemical industry. the center has undertaken the research and development of engineering plastics such as linear saturated polyester and polyether for many years, and owns a large group of engineering research achievements. in terms of process, the center is especially good at high-performance materials and high-precision plastic products used in the melt poly-condensation and polymerization of high-viscosity materials at a high temperature and under a high vacuum. in terms of engineering, the center has the outstanding feature of making the co-developing of software and hardware, and designing and manufacturing specialized equipment for the synthesis and processing of engineering plastics. in terms of specialty, with support from associated units, the center has complete capabilities for the analysis and testing of physical and chemical properties, publications and data.
