ranking the provinces in terms of output: hubei- 906,910 tons, accounting for 16.9 percent of the total output the month; shandong and sichuan- 503,481 tons and 392,965 tons, accounting for 9.38 percent and 7.32 percent of the total output this month. compared with the same period last year, hubei’s output increased by 41.16 percent, shandong rose by 17.14 percent and sichuan, 15.68 percent.
