in the recently announced 26th galaxy awards for products and service marketing, chemchina’s sustainable development report 2014 won the silver award for annual reports --- non-traditional: asia/pacific and the silver award for annual reports --- prints: chemicals. it’s the second time for chemchina to be a galaxy awards winner following the honors award in 2014.
chemchina has issued the sustainable development report for five consecutive years, themed on “life needs chemicals.” the sustainable development report 2014 draws inspiration from the image of green trees and explains chemchina's concepts about sustainable development and environmental protection. the main body of the report is detail oriented and vividly showcases chemchina’s achievements in fulfilling its social responsibilities.
it’s learnt that galaxy awards is set up by mercomm, inc., the world’s only independent awards organization, to acknowledge annual reports and other publicity media in the world that can effectively communicate information to readers, and are distinctly designed and creative in content. this year, galaxy awards received over 1,000 applications from 28 countries and regions around the globe and its panel of judges were from the uk, canada, germany, switzerland, republic of korea and hong kong. the creativity and the validness of materials submitted were evaluated. awards winners include china construction bank, dongfeng motor and china development bank.
